How It Works
Swallow
A small gelatin capsule containing the balloon is swallowed with water — just like a pill.
Verify
Fluoroscopy confirms the balloon is in the correct position. No endoscope needed.
Inflate
The balloon is filled with ~550 ml of saline via a thin catheter. The catheter is removed.
Dissolve
